Clive Corbett

In August 2017 Clive Corbett retired as Head teacher of Pershore High School after 15 years in the post and 38 in education altogether. Pershore is a very successful school for 1150 students, aged 12 to 18, consistently rated good with outstanding features by OFSTED. He is a Local Leader in Education, Fellow of the University of Worcester, and was Chair of the Worcestershire Schools Forum. Prior to that, he was Deputy Head Teacher and senior leader in three secondary schools over 23 years. Clive is the Lead Director for the Schools of Tomorrow (SoTo) Fellowship. He was one of the founders of Schools of Tomorrow and has been closely involved in all of the work that led up to its inception and subsequent development. His particular responsibility in the role will be the quality assurance and growth of the SoTo Fellowship. He believes passionately in the need to secure the well-being of young people, through the support of local communities, so that they are prepared for the future in the broadest sense of the word.
Clive’s experience also includes being:
• Facilitator on the Leadership for Tomorrow and Innovative Leadership for the Future programmes;
