Over the last few months, we have been in some great discussions with like-minded organisations to explore opportunities for increased collaboration in the context of our shared recognition of the need for change within the education sector and the potential opportunities posed by a change of government.
As a result we are delighted to announce as one outcome a formal declaration of intent to collaborate between ourselves and Whole Education.
You can read the full declaration here.
Among the key highlights are:
- Collaboration to organise a joint conference, being held on March 6 in London. Its theme is ‘Leading beyond the School – Re-connecting school and community’.
- Establishment of a new joint limited membership scheme for individuals who are not headteachers. It costs £100 but gives interested individuals a combined access to both organisations. You can read more about this exciting development here.
Commenting on the announcement our Managing Director, Malcolm Groves said: “We are excited to be collaborating with Whole Education in these ways that will benefit members of both organisations and also to help to provide a common voice to the sector in addressing both the challenges and opportunities we all face”
Whole Education CEO Shonogh Pilgrim said: “We’re pleased to partner with Schools of Tomorrow to support leaders in creating dynamic, community-centered schools. Together, we will help educators prepare students to thrive in an ever-changing world, fostering creativity, collaboration, and a shared purpose for a better future.”
